    WAUSAU, Wis. - Albert A. Piilola, 81, of Piilola Road, Ironwood Township, Mich., died Wednesday, July 13, 2016, in Wausau. He was born Feb. 8, 1935, in Ironwood, son of the late Nante and Femia (Waurio) Piilola. Albert attended the Roosevelt School in Ironwood Township. He worked in the woods and drove logging trucks.     DULUTH, Minn. - Anna M. Sullivan, 83, of Saxon, Wis., died peacefully Monday evening, July 11, 2016, surrounded by her loving family, at Essentia Health St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth. The former Anna Ableman was born Aug. 28, 1932, in Edgerton, Wis., daughter of the late Gloyd and Elma (Reger) Ableman, and graduated from Edgerton High School.   • Body of third Monday storm victim found near Marengo

    MARENGO, Wis. - A third person died in the floodwaters of Monday's storm in northern Wisconsin. The Ashland County Sheriff's Department said an 82-year-old man was found dead early Thursday in a pickup truck in the floodwaters of the Marengo River. Authorities said the truck was found in the water near the bridge over the river in the town of White River.   • Most Iron County ATV trails reopen

    HURLEY — The Iron County Forestry and Parks Department has reopened most of the county’s all-terrain vehicle trails. According to information on the department’s website, all the trails are reopened, except for Trail 2, from its intersection with Trail 6 in Kimball, through Saxon and Gurney, to the Ashland County border.
