    IRONWOOD — Lila J. Bantz, age 89, of Ironwood died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, in Ironwood. She was born Feb. 28, 1927 in Ironwood, daughter of the late Nante and Lillian (Kinnunen) Holappa. Business Manager Tammy Gibson reported taxpayers will see a lower than projected millage rate on their winter taxes with the lower than anticipated interest rate on the bonds sold to finance the building project.
