Antoinette M. Pertile

IRONWOOD, Mich. - Antoinette M. (Rigoni) Pertile, 86, of Ironwood, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024.

Antoinette was born on May 10, 1937, in Ironwood, a daughter of Matthew and Lena (Vescovi) Rigoni. She attended St. Ambrose High School and graduated in 1955.

On May 18, 1957, Antoinette was united in marriage to Anton Pertile.

Antoinette was a devout Catholic and was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ironwood. She was a kind and generous person who loved to bake, sew and garden.

Antoinette is survived by her husband, Anton; two sons, Gene (Tammie) and Tim (Sandy); a daughter, Anne (Mike) Manzanares; seven grandchildren, Samantha (Kevin) Love, Randie Ruby, Nick Ruby, Cory (Ciarra) Pertile, Chad Pertile, Kohl (Alexis) Manzanares and Ty Manzanares; three great-grandchildren, Jaxon Ribich, Kylah Pertile and Lena Love; a sister, Rose Searle; a brother, Jack (Jean) Rigoni; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Heather Pertile; and her brother-in-law, Archie Searle.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 3, from 10 to 11 a.m., in the St. Joseph Family Room at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 108 S. Marquette St., in Ironwood. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Brian Gerber, celebrant.

A luncheon will be served at the parish hall immediately following the Mass.

A special thank you to all of the kind employees at the Sky View Nursing Center in Hurley, Wisconsin, for their compassion and care they gave to Antoinette, and to Jerald Rocco, owner and manager of Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc, in Wakefield, for assisting the family with arrangements.
