    IRONWOOD - Those attending the 2015 Ironwood Snowmobile Olympus races at the Gogebic County Fairgrounds this weekend are likely to see something unique in snowmobile racing. Eighteen-year-old Sabrina Blanchet, from Quebec, Canada, is the only female snowmobiler in the toughest races and will race against many of the best male racers in the world in the IFS 340, IFS 440, Pro Champ and the TLR Cup races.     HURLEY, Wis. - Ernest N. "Ernie" Kent, 91, of Lake Avenue, Ironwood, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, in Hurley. He was born Aug. 29, 1923, in Ironwood, son of the late Ernest H. and Sarah E. Kent. He was raised in the Puritan Location, attended local schools and graduated from the A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer with the class of 1941.     ROCHESTER, Minn. — Jeffry Donald Koosmann, 53, of Mellen, Wis., passed away Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, at Rochester Methodist Hospital in Rochester, due to complications from his recent stem cell transplant. Jeff was born May 23, 1961, in Fort Riley, Kan., the son of Donald W. and Annette L. (Mattson) Koosmann. On June 24, 2006, he was united in marriage to Sheryl L. Hamilton in Mellen.
