    Wind chill readings that dipped to minus 40 degrees and lower canceled school across the Gogebic Range Monday and wiped out Sunday's Ironwood Snowmobile Olympus races. The official low for Ironwood for the 24-hour period to 7 a.m. Monday was minus 20 at the wastewater treatment plant off Cloverland Drive. The 100-year low for Jan. 5 of minus 30 was recorded in 1981, according to Ironwood statistics kept by the National Weather Service office in Marquette.     BESSEMER - The city council held its first meeting of 2015 Monday night and most of the discussion focused on changing the meeting time again. "I don't think it's been enough time to evaluate it," said council member Linda Nelson of the past change to 5:30 p.m. She said it had only been about four meetings since the time was changed.     PHOENIX, Ariz. - Leonard Anderson, 54, passed away unexpectedly at the John C. Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix due to a sudden illness on Dec. 28, 2014. He was a resident of Ironwood, Mich., throughout his younger years. He attended Roosevelt and Norrie elementary schools, and L.L.     VERNON, Wis. - Dean "Dino" Leinon, of Vernon, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Jan. 2, 2015, at the age of 74. Dean worked at Briggs and Stratton for 30 years.
