WOODRUFF, Wis. - Patricia Jane Jacobson, 92, of Minocqua, formerly a long-time resident of Wakefield, Mich., died peacefully Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at Season of Life Hospice House in Woodruff. HURLEY, Wis. - John "Jack" Prospero, age 91, of Hurley, died on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 in Hurley. He was born Nov. 2, 1926 in Bessemer Township, Mich., the son of the late Louis and Catherine (Buddle) Prospero. Jack graduated from J.E. Murphy High School in Hurley. He was a U.S. Army Staff Seargent and was discharged on Oct. 22, 1971. Jack was the Iron County Clerk of Court for 18 years, retiring in 1988.
