    IRONWOOD — Following more snow today, the Ironwood forecast calls for a return of frigid weather throughout the week. According to the National Weather Service, there was a 90 to 100 percent chance of snow today, ranging from 3 to 5 inches, but that will drop to 60 percent on Wednesday, when the low reading will return below zero.     ROCHESTER, Minn. — Nancy Rae (Sobolewski) Nemacheck, age 63, passed away peacefully at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, on Dec. 26, 2016. Nancy fought a courageous battle against breast cancer and pulmonary hypertension. Maxwell Lee Huhta, long-time resident of Ironwood, Mich., passed away on Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at Wisconsin Veterans Home in King He was born Nov. 23, 1940, in Duluth, Minn., the son of the late Wesley and Mae (Herrala) Huhta. She was born Oct. 28, 1926, in a log cabin in Kimball, the daughter of the late Gust and Olga (Lehtola) Salli. She attended Kimball Grade School and graduated from J.E. Murphy High School in Hurley in 1945. She married Robert Wehmas of Saxon on June 15, 1946, in Ironwood, Mich. He preceded her in death on Sept. 29, 1993.
