    IRONWOOD - Monday marked the first day of the spring semester for Gogebic Community College students. Spring enrollment numbers are still fluctuating as students can add and drop courses for the first week, according to officials.     ONTONAGON - Ontonagon County Animal Protection is encouraging adoption of its available animals by offering special fees for black or black and white animals in January.     WAKEFIELD - The Wakefield City Council discussed the policy for closing the city offices at Monday evening's meeting. The city closed its offices early last week due to the severe cold temperatures. This brought to light its absence of a closure policy. Anne was born in Ironwood, Mich., on June 21, 1922, and graduated from Ironwood High School. She was married to Harold "Ozzie" Forslund on June 1, 1946. Ozzie preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 2002.
