BESSEMER — The Michigan State University Extension office in Bessemer is hosting parenting classes every Monday from 4-5:30 p.m. Classes will be at the Extension office on North Moore Street. Last year, the classes were early in the afternoon and according to Erin Ross, interfered with many peoples’ work schedules. This year they made the classes later in the day to accommodate schedules, while also still being available for public transportation. SPRING PARK, Minn. - Leonard Louis Reinerio, 95, went peacefully into the arms of our Lord on Monday, Jan. 30, 2017, at Lake Minnetonka Shores in Spring Park. Len, son of the late Dominic Reinerio and Anna Bracket, was born on Jan. 2, 1922, in Hurley, Wis. He had three brothers and eight sisters. He attended public school in Hurley, and was drafted into the U.S Army during World War II to serve in the Philippines.
