    By RICHARD JENKINS [email protected] BESSEMER - Ironwood Township resident Donald Kirby, 28, entered guilty pleas to possessing heroin with intent to deliver and a felony firearm charge Thursday in Gogebic County Circuit Court, as part of a deal with Gogebic County Prosecutor Nick Jacobs. The possession charge carries a potential maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and/or a $25,000 fine. The felony firearms charge carries a maximum two-year prison sentence. Jacobs told the Daily...

  • Iron County ATV trails open today

    While parts of the county are still experiencing wet conditions associated with early spring, Iron County’s all-terrain vehicle trails open today.     ROSEVILLE, Minn. — MaryLee Favero, of Anvil Location, Bessemer Township, Mich., passed away Christmas morning, Dec. 25, 2015, at her sister’s in Roseville. She went to school in Anvil, Ramsay and graduated from A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer. She spent her entire business career in real estate and insurance at A.
