Commissioners supported a grant application for the project, as outlined in a letter from Jerald Wuorenmaa of the Western Upper Peninsula Planning and Development Regional Commission.     WAUSAU, Wis. - Ronald E. "Ron" Erickson, 75, of Ironwood Township, Mich., died Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 23, 2016, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, with his family by his side. He was born June 17, 1940, in Ironwood Township, son of the late Herbert and Marie (Vronch) Erickson, and graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in 1958.
