    BESSEMER — Lisa Hewitt, of Wakefield, has been selected to fill the vacancy in the Gogebic County Treasurer’s office. Gogebic County Prosecutor Nick Jacobs, who was on the three-person committee to appoint a treasurer, announced the selection on Friday. Hewitt replaces Sue Pertile, who retired effective Oct. 31.
