According to choir teacher Lydia Mattson, judges will be on hand to rate the different soloists and ensembles, to include ACCENT!, based on their performances. Paul Dean Smith, 26, DeMoines, Iowa was arraigned in Ontonagon District Court Wednesday. The story started with an alleged theft of an automobile in Iowa. He then drove to Trout Creek where he got stuck and police arrested him in the stolen vehicle Thursday, March 15.     OMA, Wis. - George R. Kerkes, 83, of Oma, passed away at home on March 17, 2018 after a long illness. He was born on Feb. 2, 1935 to Ann and Gazy Kerkes. He attended St. Ambrose Grade School and graduated from St. Ambrose High School in 1953. He served with honor in the U.S. Navy and the Michigan National Guard. Carol was born on April 12, 1940 in Painsedale, to Jack and Lena (DeForge) Wenberg. She was a 1958 graduate of Luther L. Wright High School.
