The board’s 4-1 decision followed discussion regarding concerns about trash, certain fireworks that litter the field with casings, preventing the consumption of alcohol and use of tobacco on school property, and planning the flow of crowds in and out of the stadium.     WATERSMEET — The last day of school in Watersmeet isn’t until Friday, but district officials are gearing up for a busy summer of more education. The district is planning an eight-week Summer Skills Camp. The summer school for all grade levels of kids who live in the district will meet Monday through Thursday.     WAUSAU, Wis. - Richard "Dick" G. Jacobson, 87, Wausau, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020, while under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Mountain Terrace Assisted Living. He was born Aug. 30, 1933, in Bessemer, Michigan, son of the late Gustav and Jennie (Johnson) Jacobson. On March 16, 1957, he very happily married Diane Goodesmith in London, England. She preceded him in death on May 16, 2017. He attended Bessemer schools and graduated in 1951. Dick joined... Full story
