    BERGLAND, Mich. — Leslie R. Raisanen, 82, of Bergland, passed away at his home on Sept. 1, 2014. He was born Feb. 10, 1932, in Palmer, to Karl and Hilja (Hyvvonen) Raisanen. He graduated from Negaunee High School in 1951. In 1959, he began working at White Pine Copper Company, where he remained until his retirement.
