    IRONWOOD - Newborn Sara Esther Bilc surprised her parents by arriving one month early, on Jan. 4, instead of Feb. 4. On Thursday, her parents, Esther and Andrei Bilc, of Ironwood, were further surprised to learn their only daughter was the first baby born in the area in 2015. "That is very neat," Esther said.     HURLEY - The Hurley Midgets picked up their fourth win in their last five games, 67-54 over Mellen Thursday. The Granite Diggers led 48-47 going into the fourth quarter where the Midgets outscored them 20-6. "Ugly, but we came out on the good side," Hurley coach Mike Swartz said.
