    IRONWOOD — Junior hockey will be making its’ debut next season at the Pat. The Minnesota Junior Hockey League announced the expansion of their league to include the Fighting Yoopers as part of the Minnesota Division on Sunday. The MnJHL has a total of 17 teams across two divisions. The Yoopers will become the third team from Michigan, joining the Tri City Icehawks from Bay City and the Marquette Royales.     BESSEMER - The Bessemer Chamber of Commerce held an Easter egg hunt at Bessemer City Hall Saturday morning. There were also refreshments, a visit from the Easter bunny and a showing of the movie "Frozen." "We've been holding this event for at least eight years," said chamber president Veronica Miskovich.     KIMBALL, Wis. - Temperatures in the low 40s and overcast skies didn't stop area residents from getting in the holiday spirit Saturday at an Easter egg hunt offered by the Penokee Range 4-H Livestock Club at Little Finland in Kimball. The event ran from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a plan to offer an ongoing egg hunt.     HURLEY - The Hurley Lions Club and Iron County youth joined forces to fundraise at the club's annual Pancake Day Sunday at the Liberty Bell Chalet in Hurley. Pancake Day, held on Palm Sunday for more than 35 years, serves as a fundraiser for both the Lions Club and the camp. Lions prepare the food and wash dishes while camp counselors and some campers act as hosts and servers, seating guests, bringing beverages and food and busing tables.     ONTONAGON – The Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park's ski hill closed this past weekend after receiving 255 inches of snow for the season.     On April 9, Iron County Board Chairman Joseph Pinardi criticized Iron County Sheriff Tony Furyk for not following the board’s vote to “eject individuals occupying the harvest camp by any lawful means necessary.” By ordinance, individuals may not camp in county forests for more than 14 consecutive days.
