Although we are blessed with thousands of acres of public lands in our county, many of the trails rely on the generosity of private landowners in order to provide trail continuity.     TOMAHAWK, Wis. — Darlene J. (nee Mauer) Follett, of Mercer, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Golden Living Center in Tomahawk. Darlene was born on Sept. 25, 1933, in Richfield to Franklin and Mildred Maurer. She graduated from Hartford High School, class of 1952, and attended Carroll College. She was a member of 4H.
