    HURLEY - The Iron County Aging Unit board of directors on Wedneday confirmed two new members and elected individuals to positions, but confusion over election processes resulted in an "at-large" member seat remaining vacant. There were two nominations for the position of vice chair, but both nominees declined the seat.     MERCER, Wis. - Working with Iron County Sheriff Tony Furyk, Vilas County officer Ty Peterson and his canine partner Draco conducted a locker and classroom search of the Mercer School on April 16. The lockdown and search resulted in no suspicious findings, a news release said.     TRAVERSE CITY (AP) - The estimated number of gray wolves in Michigan's Upper Peninsula has declined for the second consecutive year, but the change isn't statistically significant and the resurgent predator is maintaining a healthy presence in the state's far north, a biologist said Wednesday.     ERWIN TOWNSHIP – More than 50 people packed the Erwin Township Town Hall for an informational meeting regarding a proposed ordinance that would place traffic restrictions on heavy truck traffic through the township.
