According to the Red Cross, they come to this area every three to four weeks during the school year and are planning on coming back July 19 to the Ironwood area. IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Sylvia Ida (Hedberg) Rydzinski, 98, a resident of Ironwood Township, passed away early Thursday morning, May 11, 2017, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. PARK FALLS, Wis. - Donald A. Smith, 88, of Mercer, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, at Flambeau Hospital in Park Falls. Don was born on Nov. 15, 1928, in Milwaukee, the son of Arthur and Lillian (nee Bann) Smith.
