    IRONWOOD - The Gogebic County Road Commission said Lake Road, in Ironwood Township, was closed to traffic at Maki Creek beginning at 7 a.m. today. The road closure near Little Girl's Point is located about two miles east of the Wisconsin border. The purpose of the closure is to complete road construction work on the Maki Creek box culvert.     BESSEMER — The Gogebic County Board of Commissioners agreed Wednesday to increase a special 9-1-1 monthly surcharge by 30 cents per telephone or mobile device. The present charge is $1 per phone or device, but county voters authorized charging up to $1.65 in the November election. Gogebic County Emergency Management Coordinator Jim Loeper, who proposed the increase at the last county board meeting, offered a long list of reasons the increase is needed .     ONTONAGON, Mich. — Adeline A. Robl, 89, of Ewen, passed away May 12, 2015, at the Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital Long Term Care Unit. She was born Nov. 9, 1925, in Ewen to the late Eino and Toini (Hendrickson) Anderson. Adeline graduated from Ewen High School in 1943, and was employed in various places until 1944, when she married Roy Robl. They moved to Ewen in 1953 and operated a dairy farm on Fair Oaks Road.
