Wright Monday about the possibility of starting a Boys and Girls Club chapter that would serve Gogebic and Iron counties. IRONWOOD - Ironwood City Manager Scott Erickson said the city has developed a checklist to be used in the event of flooding. With temperatures in the 50s forecast for the next week, city commissioners had questions Monday about the potential for flooding. They're hoping for a gradual snowmelt to avoid the flooding damage that has occurred in some recent years. KINGSFORD - Ontonagon showed it could compete with Crystal Falls Forest Park in the second half of Tuesday's MHSAA Class D regional semifinal. But it was too late by then. The Trojans jumped to a 29-5 halftime lead, taking advantage of an Ontonagon scoring drought that lasted approximately 10 minutes.
