    IRONWOOD - Dustin Anderson, program director with Boys & Girls Club of the Northland, addressed students at Luther L. Wright Monday about the possibility of starting a Boys and Girls Club chapter that would serve Gogebic and Iron counties. Anderson, who is from the Ironwood area but works for the organization's Duluth, Minn. branch, said that if the group did form, it would be under the umbrella of the Duluth chapter.     RAMSAY - The only item on the agenda for Bessemer Township's Planning Commission on Tuesday was an update on the Five-Year Recreation Plan. Phil Strong, a project engineer for Coleman Engineering, updated the commission on the project. "We just had the public review period, from.   • City prepared with flooding checklist

    IRONWOOD - Ironwood City Manager Scott Erickson said the city has developed a checklist to be used in the event of flooding. With temperatures in the 50s forecast for the next week, city commissioners had questions Monday about the potential for flooding. They're hoping for a gradual snowmelt to avoid the flooding damage that has occurred in some recent years.     KINGSFORD - Ontonagon showed it could compete with Crystal Falls Forest Park in the second half of Tuesday's MHSAA Class D regional semifinal. But it was too late by then. The Trojans jumped to a 29-5 halftime lead, taking advantage of an Ontonagon scoring drought that lasted approximately 10 minutes.
