    WATERSMEET — The Gogebic-Iron Area Narcotics team on Thursday executed a search warrant in Watersmeet Township and arrested 29-year-old Elizabeth McGeshick. The investigation began in March, according to GIANT, and involved a number on individuals. During the search of a residence, officers found around 10 grams of crack cocaine, prescribed medication and money.     WAKEFIELD - As summer quickly approaches, the Wakefield-Marenisco School District has partnered with its reading coach, Jennifer Burla, to work to provide ways to prevent "summer slide" for students.     HANCOCK — “Co-operatively Yours,” a 2017 film by Kristin Ojaniemi and the Finnish American Heritage Center, took home the “Best Documentary” honor at the 2018 Eclipse Awards. The annual event in Grand Rapids was created to honor Michigan’s creators in film and television. The Finnish American Heritage Center is on the campus of Finlandia University in Hancock.
