    MARQUETTE — Five players who ended their high school careers with state basketball championships will play their final prep game Saturday. The 30th annual U.P. All-Star Classic will be held at Marquette High School. It is the first time this game will be hosted by MHS, although the opening seven games in the series were held in Marquette, at Northern Michigan University.     BESSEMER - The Western Gateway Trail Authority met Wednesday at the Gogebic County Courthouse and Coleman Engineering Project Manager Paul Anderson went over what has occurred since a June 4 meeting. Anderson said he's still working with the Michigan Department of Transportation on not allowing motorized vehicles on the trail. "The DOT contradicted themselves," he said.     IRONWOOD - Bubbles flew through the air at Depot Park on Thursday during Carnegie Library's Bubbles and Lunch. Children and the young at heart had a blast blowing bubbles, playing and even reading. Assistant library director Lynne Wiercinski specifically choose three water-themed books to go with bubbles.     IRONWOOD, Mich. — Stephen William Carey, 65, of Ironwood, died on June 16, 2015, in the comfort of his home and with the support of his family and hospice nurses. Stephen was born on Dec. 28, 1949, in Brooklyn, N.Y. As the son of Air Force Colonel William J. Carey and Margaret T.
