    IRONWOOD - The Ironwood Miners Memorial Mural on McLeod Avenue was a victim of Friday's snowstorm. The Ironwood Public Safety Department received a 7 a.m. Friday report that a loader machine had slid through the intersection at Suffolk Street and struck the wall, creating quite a bit of damage. Kmart is moving out of its store in the plaza and Tractor Supply has already moved goods into the building.     IRONWOOD, Mich. — Gladys E. Danowski, 89, of Ironwood, died peacefully Saturday morning, April 9, 2016, at Aspirus Grand View Hospital in Ironwood. The former Gladys E. Kilponen was born April 9, 1927, in Ironwood, daughter of the late John (Art) and Martha (Maki) Kilponen, and was a 1945 graduate of Luther L. Wright High School.
