WOODRUFF, Wis. - Norman V. Babic, 91, of Hurley, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016, at Howard Young Medical Center, Woodruff. He was born Dec. 27, 1924, in Mercer, the son of the late Michael and Mary Belle (Schwartz) Babic. Norman enlisted the U.S. Army on Aug. 14, 1945, until Jan. 31, 1946, where he received the Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation medal in Germany.
