    HURLEY — An increase in school lunch prices was approved Monday by the Hurley School Board for the 2018-’19 school year. The increases are from 10 to 25 cents in breakfast and lunch prices. The new price set-up will be: Pre-kindergarten breakfast: $1.35; grade 6-12 breakfast: $1.55; adult breakfast: $2.25; pre-K-grade 5 lunch: $2.50; grade 6-12 lunch: $2.75 and adult lunch: $4.     MARQUETTE, Mich. - Reino Emil Alanen, 90, passed away Monday, July 16, at the DJ Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette. He was born to Emil and Rosa (Tienhaara) Alanen on May 3, 1928, on a farm near Bruce Crossing. Reino's spent his early years on the farm. Later he worked at the Brown Lee Sawmill in Toivola and laid sod for Snowden near Bruce Crossing before moving to Detroit, where he worked on the assembly line at Packard Cars.
