    HURLEY — A 50-year-old Gile, Wis., resident was recently sentenced to 10 days in the Iron County Jail at Hurley and assessed $1,429 in fines and court costs on a drunk driving second offense charge. Bert Quinn had a charge of obstructing or resisting a law enforcement officer dismissed, but read into the record, in Iron County Court. The jail sentence was stayed, provided Quinn serves 60 hours of community service, according to court records. He was born March 22, 1927, in Pence, Wis., son of the late Louis and Frieda (Magni) Morgando. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Navy.
