    BESSEMER - The Bessemer City Council Monday adopted a zoning ordinance amendment for Steiger Timer Operations to rezone its property from light industrial to heavy industrial. On July 19, the council voted 3-2 to rezone the property on Tamarack Avenue that is owned by Bessemer resident Pat Steiger.     RAMSAY, Mich. - Margaret "Peggy" (Kinnunen) Berg, 70, of Ramsay, passed away Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016. Margaret was born on July 10, 1946, in Wakefield, a daughter of Raymond Edward and Louise Eda (Rigotti) Kinnunen. She grew up in Ramsay, and attended Ramsay School and A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer.
