WAKEFIELD — Wakefield resident Scott Favero received permission from the Wakefield City Council Monday evening to clean up an eye-sore on city property. Favero plans to remove some old storage tanks and a few hundred tires from a spot along a an old railroad grade that is now a trail. IRONWOOD, Mich. — Gerhard William Olson, 95, a lifelong resident of Olson Road in Ironwood Township, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, after living in the loving care of his daughter Jean and Dan Borth and their family for 11 years.
