    IRONWOOD — After coming close last year, the Gogebic County 4-H Market Animal Auction surpassed the $1 million in total sales mark Saturday at the Gogebic County Fair.   • Hurley woman pleads to Gogebic drug charges

    BESSEMER — A Hurley woman pleaded guilty in Gogebic County Circuit Court Tuesday to two drug charges as part of a plea agreement in a pair of cases against her. Carolyn Elizabeth Kauffman, 23, pleaded guilty to one count of delivery of methamphetamine and one count of possession methamphetamine. According to court records, the counts stem from two different cases. In exchange for the plea, the agreement calls for a second charge in each case to be dismissed.
