    IRONWOOD — Chuck Gervasio’s role in Ironwood’s annual Jack Frost Festival of Lights Parade is going to be a bit different this year, as parade organizers named Gervasio the grand marshall. The parade’s theme, “Christmas is ON the Air,” also honors Gervasio — the parade’s long time on-air announcer and co-host, according to parade organizers. Sauter, 93, of Garden Estates, Hurley, and formerly of Ironwood, Mich., died peacefully Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at Villa Maria Health and Rehabilitation Center in Hurley, with her loving family by her side. The former Doris Erickson was born Jan. 16, 1922, in Bessemer, Mich., daughter of the late Harold and Helen (Newby) Erickson, and graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood in 1939.     IRONWOOD, Mich. — Robert J. “Bubba” Tregembo, 71, of Ironwood, died peacefully Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, at Aspirus Grand View Hospital in Ironwood, with his family by his side. He was born March 30, 1944, in Ironwood, son of Wilfred and Rosella (Dalle Ave) Tregembo, and graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in 1962. He was married to Carol Luoma on June 14, 1969, at Salem Lutheran Church in Ironwood. Robert was employed by the City of Ironwood in the Fire Department for many years and was the last full time firefighter, retiring in 1993.... Full story
