    HURLEY - More questions were raised than ideas presented during a reclamation-themed meeting of the Iron County Mining Impact Committee Thursday. About 20 people attended. The overall purpose was to discuss community-submitted ideas regarding reclamation of Iron County land on the proposed iron mine site near Upson.   • U.P. resident disappears

    NEGAUNEE - Michigan State Police from the Negaunee post on Thursday were continuing to search for a 69-year-old Christmas resident who disappeared on Tuesday. John Michael Hongisto is 5-8, weighs 190 pounds and has blue eyes and gray hair. He was last seen at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon, driving his 2001 Ford pickup truck, red with a white box capper.
