Property owner Bill Murray said one of his primary focuses Monday was taking down portions of the roof so that workers could safely clean out the interior of the building. Commissioners approved a permit, road use agreement and general release relating to access to the substation off South Range Road. City manager Scott Erickson said when the site plan was approved for Xcel a few years back, the company agreed to be responsible for any road damages or repairs. HURLEY, Wis. - Frank L. "Cloochi" Maffesanti, 95, of Pence, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at Sky View Nursing Center in Hurley, with his family by his side. He was born Nov. 4, 1920, in Forsyth Township, Mich., son of the late Andrew and Johanna (Forchini) Maffesanti, and graduated from Lincoln High School in Hurley in 1938. EWEN, Mich. — James “Jim-Smickers” Harold Maki, 59, of Ewen, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 20, 2015, at his home. Jim was born May 14, 1956, to Roy and Mary Helen (Golberg) Maki.
