    WATTON, Mich. — James F. “Jim” Salli, 61, of Watton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, at Baraga County Memorial Hospital, L’Anse. He was born in L’Anse on June 14, 1955, the son of the late Frank Emil and Bertha (Nurkala) Salli. Jim graduated from L’Anse High School in 1973. He married the former Janet Hupp at Trinity Lutheran Church, Covington, in 1989. Judy was born Sept. 1, 1933, the 12th of 13 children of William and Ada Estola, of Ironwood, Mich. After graduating from Luther L. Wright High School, Judy moved to Ann Arbor, Mich., where she was employed by Hoover Ball and Bearing.
