    IRONWOOD - It's not every day that a father and son dress up in green gowns and walk a stage in front of hundreds of people, but that's exactly what happened at Gogebic Community College's commencement ceremony on Friday.     OMA, Wis. - About 25 people attended a tourism workshop on Thursday to raise awareness of the industry's importance to the Iron County area. (AP) - Prairie River Middle School teacher Mark Pugh didn't know what to expect last school year when he started hanging posters around the school, inviting students to participate in a wooden canoe-making workshop.     WAUSAU, Wis. - Charlene R. Anderson, 69, of Rothschild, died Monday, May 5, 2014, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 18, 1944, in Ironwood, Mich., daughter of the late Charles and Alma (Saari) Cox. On Dec. 4, , she married David Anderson in Bessemer, Mich. He survives. Charlene served her country during the Vietnam era in the United States Air Force and was very patriotic and proud of her service.
