    WAKEFIELD, Mich. - Lucy J. Golembeski, 92, a long-time resident of Wakefield, passed away Monday morning, Feb. 20, 2017. Lucy was born on Aug. 17, 1924, in Trout Creek, a daughter of Alice (Catterson) and George D. Sworab Sr. She attended school in Marenisco and Chicago. On Sept. 28, 1940, Lucy was united in marriage to Ted T. Golembeski at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wakefield. They celebrated 53 years of marriage before his passing on Jan. 2, 1994.
