City utilities director Bob Tervonen told the city commission Thursday that city residents should make sure their crawlspace areas and basements remain heated. GILE, Wis. — Marie V. Gurske, 74, of Gile, passed away on Dec. 27, 2017. She was born in Ironwood, Mich., on April 27, 1943, to the late Alfred and Jennie (Spets) Ranta.
