City utilities director Bob Tervonen told the city commission Thursday that city residents should make sure their crawlspace areas and basements remain heated.     GILE, Wis. — Marie V. Gurske, 74, of Gile, passed away on Dec. 27, 2017. She was born in Ironwood, Mich., on April 27, 1943, to the late Alfred and Jennie (Spets) Ranta. On Sept. 7, 1963, she was united in marriage to Gordon L. Gurske. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Brenda, Brian (Tracey) and Beth; eight grandchildren, Brianna (Dustin), Jessica (Kyle), Erick (Autumn), Ariana, Justin (Jacklyne), Ross (Gabriella), Sarin (Hunter) and Seth; and four great-grandchildren, plus one due in June 2018.
