HURLEY -- Iron County Health Department Director Zona Wick praised the board of health and her staff for the department's ability to meet its challenges in 2008 as she prepared the health department's annual budget.

The annual report for 2008 will be reviewed by the county board when it meets Monday night at 6 p.m.

"Public health does not happen in a vacuum," Wick said. "Every public health professional works within a team of internal and external partners. Each of our internal partners relies on each other."
