OMA, Wis. -- A 34-year-old Bloomington, Minn., man was accidentally shot in the leg while target practicing with a friend in Oma on Sunday, according to an Iron County Sheriff's Department report.

John Spence received a gunshot wound to his right leg while target practicing with Travis J. Harris, 33, of DuPont Road, at about 3:15 p.m. Sunday, the report said.

Harris took the clip out of the handgun before handing it to Spence, but, "apparently there was still one round left in the chamber and it accidentally went off, hitting Spence in the outside of his right lower leg," the report said.
