HURLEY -- Hurley K-12 School superintendent Chris Patritto and principal Jeff Gulan outlined Monday why technological advances are necessary in today's students' education at a state of education report.
Patritto outlined the district's budget woes and said that stimulus money cannot be used to fix the budget but only to enhance existing programs. Stimulus money will only be available for two years, he said.
"Over the last six years, we've had to make continual cuts," Patritto said. "Over $2 million in the last six years, and we're still standing."
