IRONWOOD -- The H1N1 flu virus and flu activity in general is wide-spread throughout Michigan and Wisconsin, according to local health departments and Grand View Health System, but the severity of the flu remains mild.
"The good news is that most people who get H1N1 will be sick for several days but recover nicely at home," a GVHS news release said.
The problem the hospital and health departments are dealing with is the slow arrival of vaccines for both the seasonal flu and H1N1.
