Tigers win season finale over WVL 82-31

MERCER, Wis. -- Mercer defeated Wisconsin Valley Lutheran 82-31 in the Tigers' regular-season finale Friday night.

After dropping a heartbreaker to Bayfield last week, the Tigers wanted to head into the postseason on a high note.

Matt Klopatek led the Tigers (8-12) with 24 points and 10 assists. Brett Pfieffer scored 16 points with 14 rebounds and Jeff Richards dished out nine assists. Josh Verdevela led WVL with 14 points.
