EWEN, Mich. - Dale E. Sain, 91 of Ewen, passed away Dec. 8, 2022, in Wausau, Wisconsin, surrounded by family. Dale was born June 11, 1931, to the late Richard and Arla Sain in Ewen. He was a lifelong resident of Ewen and graduated from Ewen High School. In 1949, he married the former Lorraine Syria. He served in the U.S. Navy Seabees during the Vietnam Era. Spring skiers should note that their days are numbered with more and more snow melting as temperatures continue to rise. The last day for skiing at Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort will be Saturday in Ironwood Township, and Sunday is the final day at Jackson Creek Summit in Wakefield Township.
