Gerald was born Oct. 31, 1950, to parents Gildo and Beatrice "Pinky" (Eliason) Alessandroni in Ironwood, Michigan. He attended Saint Ambrose and Luther L. Wright schools.     WHITE PINE — Highland Copper Company and Kinterra Capital Corp. officials visited the site of a planned White Pine North mining project on Aug. 17.
