Walter (Wladziu) J. Mlynarski IV

MANDEVILLE, La. — Walter (Wladziu) J. Mlynarski IV, 45, of Mandeville, died late Monday, April 1, 2013, in Mandeville, after a brief, courageous battle with cancer.

He was born Dec. 7, 1967, in Dearborn, Mich., son of Walter and the late Sandra Mlynarski. He attended Carsonville-Port Sanilac schools. He then joined the U.S. Navy for seven years, serving as a corpsman. He also held employment with the Veterans Association and as a truck driver.

He attended Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mandeville with his daughter, Heather.

He enjoyed boating and the warm weather.

In March 2013, he married and is survived by his wife, LaVillda, and her children, Juanita and Jared. He is also survived by his daughter, Heather (Trey) DeBellevue of Mandeville; father, Walter J. Mlynarski III, of Hurley, Wis .; sisters, Judy (Dale) Anderson, of Hurley, Sandi (Brick) Sherlock, of Peck, Mich., and Jeannine (Justin) Mlynarski, of Warren, Mich .; brothers, John (Autumn) Mlynarski, of Fort Gratiot, Mich., Joseph (Michelle) Mlynarski, of New Haven, Mich., Paul Mlynarski, of Cass City, Mich., and Matthew Mlynarski, of Hurley; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Walt is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Sheila; and his mother, Sandra.

Memorial services will be held in Louisiana and Michigan.
