Lowell Street Band to play next weekend

IRONWOOD — The Lowell Street Band will journey through four decades of music at two concerts next weekend, Friday, April 19, and Saturday, April 20, at 7:30 p.m. both nights at the Historic Ironwood Theatre.

The concerts will feature music from Queen, the Moody Blues, Supertramp, Four Seasons, David Bowie, Journey, REO Speedwagon, The Beatles, Elton John and more.

“Tight harmonies, strong leads and meticulous detail promise to make this show one to remember,” theater director Bruce Greenhill said. “The Lowell Street Band has appeared onstage at the Ironwood Theatre many times and never fails to electrify and dazzle the crowd. They’re a definite must-see.”

Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for students. They are available now at the Ironwood Theatre box office, online at ironwoodtheatre.net or by phone at 906-932-0618.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the theater. “Thanks to the Lowell Street Band for supporting the theater with this fundraising event,” Greenhill said.

A wine bar will be open before the show and during intermission.
