Gogebic Range supports blood drive

 


Despite stormy, whiteout conditions on the Gogebic-Iron Range, 71 pints of life-giving blood were collected at the Ironwood Memorial Building by the American Red Cross on March 20. The Red Cross relies on the generosity and dedication of its coordinators, volunteers and donors to support its lifesaving mission. They asked me to share their sincere appreciation with everyone who supported the blood drive.

I, too, would like to add my heartfelt thanks to the volunteers: the crew from Kiwanis Club who helped set up the tables and chairs on the preceding Tuesday, and Helen Kasper, Lorraine Lusc...
