Award winners at the Gogebic Community College Foundation’s fourth annual Taste of the Gogebic Range receive trophies from foundation president Charlene Newhouse Monday. Iron Nugget owners and employees accept their “Best of Show” award. From left are Joe Walker, Newhouse, Colin DiGiorgio and Janet DiGiorgio. “It was a tough decision for the judges this year, and a tight competition for the votes by the participants,” foundation director Kelly Marczak said. “All of the participating restaurants provided delicious samples of their wares that were beautifully displayed. The main winners of the event were the GCC students, who will benefit from this fundraiser through scholarships and other foundation projects.”
