ONTONAGON, Mich. — Kevin Casey Clark, passed away peacefully at his home from brain cancer on May 22, 2013, earning his angel wings.

He was born in Ontonagon on Sept. 30, 1977, son of Robert and Virginia Clark. Kevin graduated Ontonagon Area High School in 1996. He later received an associate degree from Gogebic Community College. On Sept. 15, 2001, he was united in marriage to Angela Johnson. Together they made their home in the Wisconsin area.

Kevin love truck driving. He worked as an over-the-road driver for Roehl Transport and Conway Freight. Kevin was very proud of having returned to college. He was one semester away from graduating with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh until his illness slowed him down.

Kevin enjoyed target shooting with his father and brothers. He looked forward to an annual fishing trip with his father-in-law and brothers-in-law. He loved his two golden retrievers.

Above all else, Kevin’s pride and joy were his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed fishing and camping with them, as well as teaching them new things. Kevin encouraged them to be the best they can be and made sure they always knew how much he loved them and how proud he was of them.

He is survived by wife, Angela; parents, Robert and Virginia; brothers, Kyle (fiancée, Stephanie) and Kelly Clark; father- and mother-in-law, Ron and Caryl Johnson; brothers-in-law, Todd (Chris) and Troy (Leah); sister-in-law, Ashley (fiancé, Jeremy) Johnson; nieces ,Tiffani (Donny) Ewald and Farryne Johnson; nephews, Cannon Johnson, and Logan, Gavin and Kalib Boldt; greatniece, Nevaeh Ewald; greatnephews, Owen and Kaden Ewald; and his two beloved dogs, Jake and Harley.

Funeral services for Kevin will be held Wednesday, May 29, at 11 a.m. at the Cane Funeral Home in Ontonagon. The funeral home will be open for visitation on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m., as well as Wednesday, one hour before the start of the service.

Burial will be in the Holy Family Cemetery.
